Brussels-The European Commission (EC) has withdrawn anti-dumping cases filed by Assn. of Product Manufacturers in Europe (APME) on behalf of member companies against Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (Sabic) and the Saudi government concerning Saudi exports of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) to Europe.The EC opened the two investigations in February and has determined that Sabic's exports of PET to the European Union (EU) and related Saudi government subsidies "do not harm the interests of the EU," reported the Saudi Press Agency.
