EPPC Is Considering Financing Options For Propylene. PP Expansion in Egypt

Port Said-Egyptian Propylene and Polypropylene Co. (EPPC) is studying ways to finance an expansion of its propylene and polypropylene (PP) complex in Port Said, Egypt, reported Zawya. The company plans a 25% expansion that would increase capacity to 510,000 t/y from 400,000 t/y within two years, EPPC Chairman Mohamed Farid Khamis said. "We will invite new investors to subscribe to the company's shares to raise the paid up capital in order to fund the expansion," he told Zawya. "We may issue new shares to expand the shareholder base or issue rights shares to existing shareholders." EPPC is also considering floating some shares on the stock exchange for future projects.
