Henan Coal Chemical Building Coal-to-Ethylene Glycol Plant

Henan-Henan Coal Chemical Industry Group plans to invest 4.6-billion yuan to build a coal-to-ethylene glycol (EG) plant in Yongcheng, Henan Province, China, local sources reported. Zheng Boyang, deputy director of Henan's Asset Supervision and Administration Commission, said the plant will have the capacity to produce 200,000 t/y of EG from coal.
