Huntsman Plans $40-Million Investment For New Asia Pacific Technology Center

Shanghai— Huntsman Corp. plans to invest about $40-million to build a new Asia Pacific Regional Technology Center (ATC) in Shanghai's Minhang Economic & Technological Development Zone in China. The ATC, on which construction is scheduled to start in January 2012, will replace the existing nearby technology center opened in 2008. It will include machine halls, laboratories and offices, accommodating up to 400 technical experts. Completion is planned for mid-2013.
