Celanese Inaugurates World's Largest' POM Production Facility in Frankfurt

Frankfurt— Celanese has opened what it says "will be the world's largest" polyoxymethylene (POM) production plant in the Frankfurt Hoechst Industrial Park in Germany. The plant, with a nameplate capacity of 140,000 t/y of POM, strengthens Celanese's Ticona engineering polymers business and is expected to meet the increased global demand for innovative specialty solutions in polymer-based products.
