Rand Uranium plans R3,5bn uranium processing plant

South African junior miner Rand Uranium has announced that it will invest R3,5-billion in the construction of a new uranium processing plant. CEO John Munro said at the Mining Indaba that the processing plant would be located on the West Rand, near its Cooke operations. The announcement of the construction of the processing plant followed the successful completion of the feasibility studies in December last year.
