摘要

Emerging coal-miner Coal of Africa Limited (CoAL) has secured rail allocations with State-owned Transnet Freight Rail (TFR), a unit of South African logistics group Transnet, for rail services for the export of coal produced at its Vele, Makhado and Mooiplaats coal projects through the Matola dry bulk export terminal, in Maputo, Mozambique, and the Grindrod Richards Bay Navitrade terminal, in South Africa. CoAL MD Simon Farrell reports that the company has secured the rail allocation of one-million tons a year of coal for the Matola terminal, matching the company's one-million-ton port allocation for the export of coking coal from the Vele and Makhado coking projects. The port allocation was secured through a throughput agreement with Terminal De Carvao Da Matola Limitada.
