Sanchez Energy said its oil production fell during the first three months of 2016 compared to a year ago, although the loss was more than offset by big gains in natural gas and natural gas liquids (NGLs) output, pushing the firm's volumes well above firstquarter guidance. The Houston-based firm reported first-quarter production of about 56,500 boe/d - split nearly even between oil, gas and NGLs - representing a year-to-year increase of 25%.
