Petrobras Adds More Jobs to Chopping Block

Brazil's Petrobras has introduced a companywide incentive program to reduce its headcount that it believes will yield 33 billion Brazilian reals ($9.2 billion) of savings through 2020. The state-owned oil company said the objective of the buyout program is to optimize productivity via a more streamlined workforce that can still meet the goals laid out in its Business and Management Plan.
