Petrobras, Total Announce Strategic Alliance

Brazil's state-controlled oil company Petrobras has signed a memorandum of agreement with French major Total to form a strategic alliance for exploration and production activities as well as gas and power. Petrobras said that in the agreement's first phase, it will offer partnerships in E&P projects in Brazil, while Total will propose opportunities abroad.
