Exxon Gets OK to Truck California Oil

Officials in Santa Barbara County, California have given Exxon Mobil the go-ahead to begin trucking oil from its Las Flores Canyon storage site after the only pipeline connecting it to refineries in the north was closed in May. In an emergency order issued Monday, the county's Planning and Development Department said Exxon can truck 425,000 barrels of oil currently being stored there to the north.
