Ecopetrol Reserves Fall in 2015

Colombia's state-controlled Ecopetrol said its proved reserves fell to 1.849 billion barrels of oil equivalent at the end of 2015, in accordance with the methodology of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The year-end total was down 11% from proved reserves of 2.084 billion boe at the end of 2014. Oil comprised about two thirds of the company's reserves at the end of 2015.
