Marathon Oil Divestment Program Continues to Roll

Marathon Oil isn't showing any signs that it will curb its asset sales program, saying Monday it has reached a deal to sell $235 million in Permian Basin assets to an undisclosed buyer. The deal includes nonoperated carbon dioxide (CO2) and waterflood properties in New Mexico and West Texas, which produced about 4,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day during the first half of the year.
