Clean-up continues in Bowman Country, North Dakota after 122,000 gallons of oil and drilling wastewater overflowed from a tank at a site operated by Texas-based Denbury Onshore. North Dakota Health Department spokesman Bill Suess told Oil Daily that 17,000 gallons of oil and 105,000 gallons of produced water - saltwater and oil along with drilling chemicals - spilled Thursday from a tank after a shut-off sensor failed.
