A group of royalty owners has filed a class action lawsuit against Chesapeake Energy and SandRidge Energy for allegedly colluding to drive down the value of oil and gas leases in Oklahoma. The suit, filed late Thursday in the US District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, came two days after Chesapeake co-founder Aubrey McClendon was indicted on federal bid-rigging charges (OD Mar.3'16).
