US Remains Largest Oil, Gas Producer

The US remained the largest producer of oil and natural gas in the world in 2015 despite the slump in commodity prices, according the US Energy Information Administration (EIA). The US produced roughly 29 million barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2015, representing an all-time high and an increase of about 2 million boe/d from the previous year.
