US Sees Big Drop in Shale Oil Output in March

The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) expects oil output from the top seven US shale regions to fall by 92,000 b/d to 4.924 million b/d in March from 5.016 million b/d in February. The EIA expects the bulk of that decline to occur in the Eagle Ford Shale of South Texas, where it sees production falling by 50,000 b/d.
