Speculation that Opec might agree to rein in production to reduce a supply glut was further fueled late Monday on reports that Saudi Oil Minister Ali Naimi would hold talks in Doha, Qatar, on Tuesday with his Russian counterpart, Alexander Novak, as well as the Venezuelan and Qatari oil ministers. Venezuelan Oil Minister Eulogio del Pino last week wrapped up a tour intended to muster support for a coordinated Opecon-Opec cut with talks in Riyadh with Naimi (IOD Feb.15'16).
