BP Takes Steps to Survive and Thrive at $60 Oil

BP said Tuesday it will make deeper cuts in its capital spending, further reduce its costs and sell off more assets as it repositions itself to cope with oil prices of around $60 per barrel. The UK major expects oil prices to remain at lower levels for the next two years but says it is on track for its cash flow to cover its capital spending and dividend payments by 2017.
