Iran's cabinet is expected to approve this month the framework that will provide the legal basis for the much - anticipated Iran Petroleum Contract (IPC), which Tehran hopes will entice international oil companies to invest in its bountiful oil and gas reserves. The government is presently reviewing changes to the Petroleum Act, which will provide the legislative framework for the IPC that Tehran plans to offer to companies in December in London.
