House Tries Another Crude Exports Repeal

Congressional proponents of sending US crude oil overseas are trying another avenue for their repeal of the longstanding ban on most crude oil exports. This week, US Rep. Joe Barton (R - Texas) and three other Texas lawmakers proposed an amendment to an existing energy policy reform package. That bill passed out of committee on Sep. 30 by a vote of 32 - 20.
