Shell Sees US Shale Gas Feeding LNG Exports

Royal Dutch Shell could potentially feed its US shale gas into the proposed Elba LNG export project or BG's planned Lake Charles export facilities, Shell's finance chief Simon Henry tells International Oil Daily. "Our gas business in shale will primarily give us value because of its integrated linkage into LNG, which is clearly what we would do in Canada. And in Appalachia or the Marcellus and Utica plays, we'll see what linkage we need or want there with Elba and potentially the BG exports assets," Henry said last week.
