Colorado Oil Task Force Presents Recommendations

A task force created by Governor John Hickenlooper to find ways of minimizing friction between the oil and gas industry and residents of Colorado has presented its recommendations to the governor and the state legislature, the General Assembly. Hickenlooper set up the task force last year as part of a compromise that kept four energyrelated measures off the ballot in last November's midterm elections. Two of the measures would have restricted oil and gas operations while two would have facilitated such operations (OD Aug.11'14).
