Brazil: Partners Pleased With Carcara Well

Brazil's state - controlled Petrobras and independent QGEP said Tuesday that the recently completed Carcara Norte well, targeting a presalt reservoir in the offshore Santos Basin's Block BM - S - 8 showed promising results. In separate statements, the companies said results of two cased well formation tests suggests that the Carcara Norte well could be among the most productive in the entire Santos Basin presalt play.
