Lawmakers Seek Broad Approval for Exports to Mexico

A bipartisan group of US Congressmen has written to President Barack Obama urging him to grant broad authorization for exports of US crude oil to neighboring Mexico. "Lifting the prohibition on crude oil exports to Mexico is consistent with the US national interest and would extend equal treatment to Mexico which the US currently affords Canada," said the group comprised of two Democrats and three Republicans.
