Bankrupt Producer Settles US Gulf Pollution Case

Bankrupt offshore producer ATP Oil & Gas has agreed to pay almost $42 million in penalties to settle claims that it illegally discharged oil and chemicals from a production platform in the Gulf of Mexico.
