Gleaming Milestone--CRG pours first bullion bar

LSE- and JSE-listed Central Rand Gold (CRG) has successfully smelted and poured its first in-house gold bullion bar of about 2 kg from its carbon-in-leach (CIL) concentrate treatment plant. CRG executive manager Wayne Epstein explains that the company's CIL plant is fed concentrate from the 20-t/h Gekko trial crushing and concentrating plant and will now also be fed from its newly commissioned 30-t/h Bateman crushing and concentrating plant.
