Russia's energy czar and head of statecontrolled giant Rosneft Igor Sechin is among another seven allies of President Vladimir Putin and 17 companies that the US announced new sanctions against on Monday as punishment for Moscow's annexation of Crimea and further actions in Ukraine. "Russia's dangerous and inflammatory actions against Ukraine are illegal and illegitimate," US Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew said in announcing the new sanctions.
