Canadian Natural Snaps Up Devon Canada Assets

Canadian Natural Resources will pay C$3.125 billion (US$2.83 billion) in cash to acquire some of Devon Energy's conventional liquidsrich gas assets in Western Canada, as well as six gas plants and other related infrastructure. The assets are all adjacent to Canadian Natural's existing operations and land holdings. They do not include Devon's unconventional Horn River Shale gas properties in northern British Columbia or its heavy oil operations in Alberta.
