Total Chairman and Chief Executive Christophe de Margerie died late Monday following a collision involving his company jet and a snow plough during take-off at Moscow's Vnukovo International Airport, the company and airport officials confirmed Tuesday. The collision occurred a few minutes before midnight as the executive's Dassault Falcon 50 aircraft was accelerating for takeoff in a snowstorm, the airport said in a statement.
