SM Energy Sells Oklahoma Assets

SM Energy says it has agreed to sell all of its assets in the Anadarko Basin of Oklahoma -- including its Granite Wash interests -- to private energy equity firm EnerVest for $343 million. The Denver-based company said third-quarter production from the assets was about 8,500 boe/d (75% natural gas) -- 6% of the company's total production for the period.
