YPF Touts Pact With Chevron on Final Terms of Shale Venture

Argentina's state-controlled oil company YPF says it has agreed the final commercial terms of an exploration and development joint venture with US major Chevron in the country's burgeoning Vaca Muerta Shale. YPF says the two companies have defined the scope of an initial pilot project that will see the drilling of some 100 wells in the Loma La Lata Norte and Loma Campana areas of the Vaca Muerta over the next 12 months.
