Petrobras Reports Campos Basin Find

Brazilian state-led oil company Petrobras said it has made an oil discovery in the offshore Marlim Sul field in the Campos basin. Petrobras said it found a 100-meter (328-foot) hydrocarbon column at a depth of 2,965 meters (1.84 miles). It said the oil had an API gravity of 13° to 16° and was of quality similar to that already produced at Marlim Sul -- Brazil’s largest producing field with output of just over 300,000 b/d.
