Repsol, Venezuela Sign Deal to Finance Joint Venture

Spain's Repsol has agreed to provide Venezuela with $1.2 billion in financing to bolster crude production from a joint venture with state-owned Petroleos de Venezuela (PDV). PDV's president Rafael Ramirez said that the money would be used to boost output from the two firms' Petroquiriquire partnership by at least 75,000 barrels per day.
