Conoco Starts Up UK Jasmine Field

ConocoPhillips on Wednesday announced first gas production on Nov. 19 from the Jasmine field in the UK North Sea. Conoco operates the field with a 36.5% equity stake alongside co-venturers BG 30.5% and Eni 33%. Jasmine is a high-pressure, high-temperature gas-condensate reservoir, located in Blocks 30/6 and 30/07a of the central North Sea, about 9 km west of the Judy platform. The Jasmine facility has the gross capacity to produce 140,000 boe/d. Conoco expects net 2014 production from Jasmine of some 40,000 boe/d, while BG expects 30,000 boe/d net "once on plateau."
