BP Keeps Up Attack on Oil Spill Claims Program

BP has made new allegations of conflict of interest and fraud within the court - supervised program set up to compensate victims of the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill disaster. The allegations were laid out in a court filing in which BP is making a second attempt to suspend payments under the program, which is being investigated by former FBI director Louis Freeh.
