Conoco Sells Oil Sands Property to Exxon, Imperial

ConocoPhillips is selling its wholly owned Clyden oil sands property to Exxon Mobil and Imperial Oil for about $720 million (C$751 million). Imperial is Exxon's 70% - owned Canadian affiliate. Clyden comprises 226,000 net acres of undeveloped land near the southern edge of the Athabasca oil sands, about 90 miles south of Fort McMurray, Alberta.
