Libya’s Agoco Targets 450,000 b/d

Libya’s state-owned Arabian Gulf Oil Co. (Agoco) is now producing some 400,000 b/d, company officials say, adding that output could increase to some 450,000 b/d by the end of the year -- surpassing the company’s peak pre-conflict rate of around 425,000 b/d. The additional 40,000-50,000 b/d will come from the Messla field when work is completed to overhaul gas turbines at a power unit there.
