Oil prices moved higher on Wednesday on optimism about US jobs data and a strengthening of the euro as a result of a growing belief that Greece's debt restructuring will ultimately be a controlled affair. However, it was weekly petroleum data from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), released early during the Nymex trading session, that put oil on a sustained upward path for the day.
