PTT Sets Out LNG Plans

Thailand’s state PTT plans to buy some 1 million tons of LNG each year — mainly through short-term deals — but also via the spot market. The firm, however, won’t buy any spot cargoes until at least June, a compa- ny spokeswoman told Oil Daily, adding that the company normally buys an average of one spot shipment a month, although this varies due to factors like vessel capacity.
