Oil Prices Mixed as Positive Data Points Fails to Trigger Rally

Oil prices closed mixed Thursday as positive US jobs data and encouraging news from Eu- rope failed to generate sufficient momentum to break through key technical levels. The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) also released a mixed inventory report which revealed that US gasoline demand is now at its lowest level since 2001.
