Credit Suisse: China to Become World's Top Energy Consumer by 2015

China will likely surpass the US to become the world's largest energy consumer by 2015, according to new estimates by investment bank Credit Suisse. In a special report on China published this week, the bank said China's primary energy demand will be more than 3.3 billion tons of oil equivalent by 2015, up from just over 2.1 billion tons in 2009.
