Gazprom Reveals Uzbek Reserves

Gazprom has unveiled reserve estimates at its Jel gas and condensate field in the Ustyurt Plateau in western Uzbekistan after hitting gas with four exploration wells. Preliminary estimates show the field holds some 6 Bcm of gas and 40,000 tons of gas condensate, the Russian firm said in its in-house magazine. According to previous reports, the four wells had total commercial gas flows of around 500 MMcm/d.
