After settling at a 10-month highjust a hair shy of $4.80/MMBtu on Thurs-day, July futures fell to near $4.70 on Fri-day, leaving traders with a confusedroadmap for the week ahead.Lagging gas inventories again led theweek’s key fundamentals, with the federalEnergy Information Administration report-ing an 83 billion cubic foot injection for theweek ended May 27 — a build so light it wasbarely on analysts’ radar. It was also shy oflast year’s 88 Bcf injection and the five-yearaverage build of 99 Bcf.
