Australian junior explorer AWE, whichholds stakes in several permits in WesternAustralia’s Perth Basin, plans to explore andappraise potential shale gas developments,after identifying three plays on its acreageand possible gas reserves of 13 Tcf-20 Tcf.AWE also sees tight gas potential in the area.It is awaiting approval for hydraulic stimula-tion of several wells.
