Petrobras nearing rig award bonanza

BRAZIL'S Petrobras is moving to the award stage on several rig charters and US-listed Ensco has already clinched a deal after slashing its price for the Ensco 7500.Petrobras is understood to be seeking at least three dynamically-positioned units capable of operating in water depths of up to 2400 metres, for delivery at the end of 2010.
