Duo in clash over jack-up rig design

CHINESE heavy lifting vessel specialist Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry (ZPMC) and Iranian-linked ADHK are in a dispute over the design of 10 jack-up rigs.Industry officials said ZPMC has rejected requests by ADHK, understood to be an investment company registered by Iran Offshore Engineering & Construction (IOEC) in Spain, to change the design of the newbuilds.
