Kazakhstan ups gold production 1.1 % in H1

Kazakhstan reduced unrefined or semi-refined gold production 1.1% year-on-year in January-June to 18.575 tonnes, the State Statistics Agency said.Unrefined or semi-refined silver production grew, by 48.5% to 464.887 tonnes.Kazakhstan produced 169,369 tonnes of refined copper in January-June, 1.8% more than in the same period of last year.Unprocessed zinc production rose 0.2% to 158,673 tonnes.Output of copper in concentrate rose 5.6% to 205,300 tonnes, and zinc in concentrate was up 1.6% to 181,100 tonnes.
