Uranium plant commissioning to enter final stages

Emerging uranium-miner First Uranium is soon to enter the final stages of commissioning of its Ezulwini mine uranium plant and plans to commission the first two modules of the uranium plant at its Mine Waste Solutions (MWS) tailings recovery operation in the next quarter. The Ezulwini mine uranium plant is scheduled for ammonium diuranate (ADU), or yellowcake, recovery by April 2009. First Uranium vice-president for investor relations Bob Tait explains that, before this can take place, the operation of all circuits within the uranium plant must be successfully tested with ore and reagents, with the final stage being the successful precipitation of ADU.
