Converse could yield 2Moz for International Minerals

A SCOPING study for International Minerals Corp's Converse gold project in Nevada has designed an open-pit, heap-leaching operation that could generate 2.2Moz of gold and 8.5Moz of silver.The study, overseen by consultant Micon International and including input from consultant SRK, found a 14-year operation could recover 217Mt of mineralised material, containing 3.6M02 of gold and 27.6Moz of silver. The resource was contained within two deposits at North and South Redline that surround a central intrusive body.
